Founders

The leaders and founders of SafetyNest are parents who started the organization because after the birth of their first daughter they wanted to address the fears commonly experienced by parents and make a commitment to community safety. 

The original idea for the nonprofit started in 2016 but the organization didn't take form till the father retired from the United States Secret Service as an Agent with over 20 years of experience. 

Together, both mom and dad apply the knowledge and expertise gained from their professional and personal lives to protect their family and share these life-saving skills with others. 

The goal is to empower individuals and families, especially those lacking access to such resources, to take proactive steps toward protecting their safety and create safer communities.
